Our Philosophy

Our big moments are often short, breathtakingly sweet, messy, requiring bravery, and maybe a tad un-glamorous depending on your crying style. Real, authentic slivers in time that shape our memory. Our work is to photograph these moments in all their stunning and authentic glory. Without being noticed, we catch the in-between moments as the day unfolds naturally, all the while crafting and styling the elements of your wedding day into a timeless work of fine art. We photograph an even mix of documentary style photography, and fine art composed and crafted portraits. Documentary images (often called candids) are the unposed, natural happenings during your day without direction or interference. Fine Art images are portraits that are planned by us with that perfect light, setting, and pose, where we create a more controlled atmosphere to give you a lovely and romantic stylized look. Our images are often accurately described as delicately romantic with a touch of real life grit. We hope you will agree!

Your Experience

As your wedding photographers we want your heart set at ease, knowing that you are in the company of people who view you as not just a client, but a friend. In order to make that happen we get to know you and your love story while talking through the expectations of your wedding day, and planning out a schedule to ensure everything runs smoothly and stress free. If you are interested in booking us, we schedule a meeting via facetime or skype to say hello, and answer any questions you might have. To book us we exchange a 50% deposit and a signed package agreement, specifying all the details of the package you picked. Congrats, you are officially booked! Next we schedule your engagement session. A few months before your wedding we send three questionnaires to fill out, including a formals shot request list, and set up a time to plan out your wedding day schedule. Once that is done we have you approve it one last time before we arrive at your wedding day! On the actual day we are flexible with how your day is uniquely unfolding and adjust according to what you need.
